About Hesham Mohammed

With nearly three decades of experience in English language education, teacher training, and curriculum development, I have dedicated my career to helping learners and educators reach their highest potential. My work spans renowned institutions such as the American University in Cairo (AUC), AMIDEAST, the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), and the German University in Cairo (GUC)—all unified by a mission to advance high-quality, technology-enhanced learning.

I specialize in English language instruction (CEFR A1–C1), IELTS/TOEFL preparation, and teacher training programs designed to elevate instructional practice across schools, universities, and national education projects. Over the years, I have contributed as a trainer, consultant, academic leader, and curriculum designer for organizations across Egypt and the MENA region.

My passion for educational innovation has led me to integrate modern tools such as SmartBoard, ACTIVE BOARD, and MozaBook software, and to design blended learning experiences—including the Blended Learning Online Course on almentor.

I have also worked in leadership roles, including managing assessment and test-development teams at AUC, where I oversaw large-scale evaluation projects.

As a Teacher Trainer, I have supported the professional development of thousands of educators through national initiatives with Longman, the Ministry of Education, Azharian Institutes, AMIDEAST, and Nile TESOL, where I served as a Steering Committee Member for the Learning Technology SIG. I continue to provide free PD workshops because I believe education thrives through shared expertise and continuous growth.

My academic background includes an ongoing PhD in English linguistics/semiotics at Suez Canal University, a Master’s degree in TEFL with distinction, and certifications from the University of Oregon, Arizona State University, British Council, IH Cairo, Cambridge, and more.

Beyond teaching, I work as an academic paper editor, content creator, and soft skills trainer, helping learners and professionals improve their writing, communication, and workplace effectiveness.

Above all, I am passionate about empowering students, teachers, and institutions through inspired teaching, thoughtful curriculum, and meaningful use of technology.
